What FL Registered Agent.org does

A flat $99 buys one year of registered agent service in Florida — the registered office, same-day scanning of court papers, and reminders before state deadlines.

  • A registered agent of record in Florida, listed on your state filing.
  • We accept service of process and official state mail on your company's behalf.
  • Service of process and Secretary of State mail are scanned to your online account, with an email to you.
  • Up to 3 other official (legal) letters a year are scanned at no extra charge, for example letters from the IRS.
  • Annual report due-date reminders by email.

What Florida requires

Every Florida LLC, corporation, and limited partnership has to keep a registered agent on file with the Florida Division of Corporations. The agent is the official point of contact for lawsuits and state mail, and Florida law is specific about who's allowed to hold the job. For LLCs, the rules live in Fla. Stat. § 605.0113.

Florida gives you three options for the agent role:

  • An individual who lives in Florida
  • A Florida business entity with an active filing with the Division of Corporations
  • An out-of-state entity authorized to transact business in Florida

Whichever you pick, the statute ties the agent to a real location: the registered office has to be a street address in Florida, identical to the agent's business address. PO boxes don't qualify. The agent also needs to be present during normal business hours, because that's when process servers come knocking.

Registered agent service in Florida: $99/year. It renews automatically each year at $99 unless you turn off auto-renewal or cancel in your online account.

State fees are shown separately from our fee. We collect them with your order and pay them to the state at cost when we file.

Outside the plan

  • A virtual mailbox or mail forwarding. Everyday business mail is charged per piece to view, legal letters beyond the 3 a year are charged per piece, junk mail is discarded and packages are refused.
  • Filing your annual report. That is a separate service with its own fee plus the state's fee.
  • State filing fees of any kind.
  • Forming the company, or any amendment or reinstatement filing.

About mail and privacy: As your registered agent we accept service of process and official state mail on your behalf, and you're welcome to list our Florida address on your filings so your home address stays off the public record. We're not a mailing service, though. Service of process is scanned and emailed to you the same business day at no charge; anything else you'd like scanned runs $15 per item, plus actual postage if you want the paper original mailed to you.

Getting started

Visit our checkout page to get started. We'll collect your business information, provide your registered agent address for state filings, and set up your online document portal. If you're switching from another agent, we'll guide you through the change process.

Changing your registered agent to us

Change of registered agent to us: $0 our fee + $25 Florida filing fee = $25. The registered agent service itself is $99/year.

For an LLC, the official form name and number is the Statement of Change of Registered Office or Registered Agent or Both for Limited Liability Company, form INHS18. It's filed with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations (Registration Section), and the official filing fee is $25 for LLCs per the state's LLC fee schedule. Corporations use their own version of the change form, CR2E045, and pay $35.

  1. Choose a new registered agent who qualifies under Fla. Stat. § 605.0113. That means a Florida resident or a business entity authorized to operate in Florida, with a street address in the state. A PO box won't work, and your company can't appoint itself, though a member or manager who lives in Florida may serve.
  2. Fill out form INHS18, the Statement of Change of Registered Office or Registered Agent or Both. It asks for your entity name, document number, the outgoing agent's information, and the new agent's name and Florida street address. The new agent signs to accept the appointment.
  3. Mail the completed form, plus the $25 fee, to the Division of Corporations ($35 if you're a corporation filing CR2E045). Appoint us and our team files it on your behalf.
  4. Confirm the switch in the state's records. Search your company on Sunbiz once the filing is processed; when the new agent appears, the old one stops receiving anything on your behalf.

Billing, cancellation and refunds

Registered agent service renews automatically for another year on each renewal date, unless you turn off auto-renewal or cancel in your online account, or give written notice at least 30 days before the renewal date. Renewal reminders go out about 60 days ahead.

You can cancel at any time from your online account or by contacting support. Cancelling does not by itself remove us as registered agent on the state record; a change of registered agent or resignation filing does that.

Anything already filed with the government is not refundable. Registered agent fees are not refundable once we or our partner have been appointed with the state. State fees are not refundable once paid to the state.
