Short verdict: Clemta is $50 cheaper to start and $250 dearer every year after, because Essentials is a subscription; our package is paid once and only the agent renews. Clemta bundles an address and higher tiers with tax and state-report help. Keep in mind that the other package on this page is ours.

Can Clemta form a Florida LLC?

Clemta doesn't list its states on the pricing page. Check Florida with Clemta directly before committing.

First-year and ongoing cost in Florida

Clemta Essentials Our package
Year one $474 $524
Year two $349 $99
Year three $349 $99
Three-year total $1,172 $722

Florida's $138.75 report fee lands in years two and three under both columns, so it's left out above. The difference is $450 over three years in our favor. What Essentials gives you for the extra is an address with scanning and a subscription that stays active; decide what those are worth to you.

The Florida report you'll owe

On Essentials or with us, filing it is your task: a Sunbiz report between January 1 and May 1, costing $138.75. Late filers pay an extra $400, no waiver, and a report still missing on the third Friday of September puts the LLC at risk of administrative dissolution. Clemta's Pro tier takes this off your list if you'd prefer.

How we're different

One fee, then one small renewal

The $399 isn't billed again. After the included year, you keep the Florida agent for $99 annually or cancel it from your dashboard.

A finished application instead of guidance

Clemta guides applicants. We write the application for our partners ourselves from your checkout details, include your filed Florida Articles, and have it done by the time your SS-4 signature is in. Nothing goes out until you approve it; the EIN comes later on its own track. Our partners review each application and make the call, so approval isn't assured.

EIN without an SSN, spelled out

The IRS online application requires an SSN or ITIN, so we complete a paper SS-4, you sign it electronically, and we fax it. Allow two to eight weeks; there's no rush option.

Pick Clemta if

  • A mailing address with scanning is worth $250 a year more to you.
  • You'd move up to Pro for federal filings and Florida reports in one bill.
  • You need help with the BE-13 survey.

Pick our package if

  • You want the lower cost from year two on.
  • You'll file the Florida report yourself or hire a filer.
  • You want your bank application prepared, not just explained.

Form 5472, which many non-resident single-member LLCs file with a pro forma 1120, isn't part of our package. A tax professional can tell you what you owe.
